Team Coaching

A team is a group of people who work together to achieve common goals, a context where each member contributes to the achievement of group performance. A team is an autonomous body that is generated and grows up, with different needs in each stage of its development.
The team building process is neither spontaneous nor automatic. That is why the Risorse team will work with you and for you to support you in the process of building and growing a team, by involving everybody, from human resources to team leaders and team members.

According to Bruce Tuckman’s model, there are 4 stages in the life of a work team:

FORMING

this is when the team is created and team members will work on cohesion and on the mission of the team; at this stage, it is important for the team leader to be able to share the team’s vision.

Storming

this is when conflicts begin; however, if managed properly, conflicts may become a constructive base for growth.

norming

when conflicts are solved, the team is more mature and begins to cooperate effectively, setting rules for itself and fine-tuning methodologies and strategies.

performing

the last stage is when the team has started working effectively and reaches its goals without friction.

The first thing we do, when we start working with a team, is to understand at which growth stage it is, as there are different situations to address and goals to work on at each stage. Team Booster is the tool we use to take a picture of the team and its leader, and understand where we are supposed to start from, whether an analysis of the team climate, of how team members work together, of their strengths and improvement areas. With this picture in our hands, we then discuss with the team and check if the result is consistent. After this, we will plan a growth path tailored to the needs and objectives of the team.

The team will be accompanied along a coaching path every day: under the guidance of our facilitator, experiential training activities will take place, with appropriate exercises to work on the weakest aspects. This targeted training will help the team develop their missing skills and learn how to work efficiently together. This will include workshops, outdoor activities, hands-on training, debates and exchanges, simulations and gaming. We will use the most diverse tools:  images, music, creative activities, role play, concept maps.
Our approach is based on the notion of team building, but with a more accurate and focused work: we create contexts in which we may live experiences together and reproduce those dynamics that offer us the opportunity to get to know each other better and grow as a team.

ALL THIS WILL BE DONE BY STRONGLY FOCUSING ON THE CORPORATE VALUES OF THE INDIVIDUAL COMPANY, ON UNDERSTANDING WHY WE SHOULD WORK TOGETHER, AND ON THE IMPORTANCE OF COMBINING THE PRODUCTION ENERGY WITH THE INTERACTION ENERGY

The task of the coach is to create the conditions for each team member to be able to give his/her personal contribution by pushing each person to express their opinion on the objectives set. This method allows the team to identify as many options as possible to achieve its goals. The added value of Team Coaching is the improvement of performance while fully respecting the opinions, growth and satisfaction of each individual involved: this will develop a real and positive synergy between the participants, which is an essential ingredient to maximise the potential of the team.

This approach is effective in both situations, whether the team is working face-to-face or through a virtual platform. This method will help people to live the team as a collective experience both if physically close to one another and at a distance.
